At Start Driving School, we strive to provide professional, reliable, and flexible driving lessons to all our students. To ensure fair scheduling for everyone and to respect our instructors’ time, we have implemented the following cancellation policy:

1. Notification of Cancellation or Rescheduling

– To cancel or reschedule a driving lesson, you must provide at least 24 hours’ notice prior to the scheduled start time.
– Notification can be made via phone (+61 493 176 667), text message, or through the online booking form on our website.

2. Late Cancellation and No-Show Fees

– If cancellation or rescheduling occurs with less than 24 hours’ notice, or if you do not attend the lesson (no-show), the full lesson fee will be charged.
– This applies to:
– Cancellations
– Rescheduling requests
– Failure to attend the booked session
– Reason: The reserved time slot is exclusively allocated to you, and late cancellations prevent us from offering it to another student.

3. Exceptions

– In genuine emergency situations (such as sudden illness or serious unforeseen circumstances) supported by appropriate evidence, we may waive or reduce the fee at the discretion of management.
– If Start Driving School cancels a lesson (e.g., due to instructor illness or vehicle issues), no fee will be charged, and the lesson will be rescheduled at no extra cost.

4. Application to Packages and Services

– This policy applies to all services, including single lessons, 5-lesson packages, night lessons, mock tests, and driving test packages ($170).
– Late cancellation of a driving test package will also incur the full fee.
